Who we are

InspectorView ("we", "our", "us") provides an inspection and mapping app. Contact: Arthur Johnson, support@inspectorviewapp.com.

What data we collect

• Account data: name, email (via Clerk authentication).
• Location data: precise/approximate location when you enable location features.
• Photos and files: photos you capture and PDFs/documents you upload or generate.
• App activity and identifiers: usage analytics and app instance identifiers.
• Local storage: app data stored on your device (Room/DataStore, encrypted preferences).

How we use data

• Provide app functionality: authentication, geotagging, media capture, offline/online sync.
• Sync/storage: optional OneDrive sync via Microsoft Graph.
• Analytics: aggregate usage analytics via Firebase Analytics.
• Security and fraud prevention.

Sharing and processing

• Authentication: Clerk.
• Cloud storage: Microsoft OneDrive/Microsoft Graph.
• Analytics: Firebase Analytics.
• Mapping tiles: OpenStreetMap via OSMDroid may log IP/usage.

We do not sell personal data. Transfers are limited to what’s necessary to operate the app.

Retention

• Account data: retained while the account is active; deleted on request or account closure.
• Content: retained while you keep it in the app or connected OneDrive; deletable by you.
• Analytics: retained per Firebase’s standard aggregated retention.

Your choices

• Enable/disable OS-level location permissions.
• Capture/delete photos and PDFs; disconnect OneDrive at any time.
• Request access/deletion: support@inspectorviewapp.com.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted (TLS). Sensitive preferences use OS-backed encryption.

Children

The app is intended for professional use and not directed to children under 13.

International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than your own with industry-standard safeguards.

Changes

We may update this policy and will update the "Last updated" date above.
